OK! Let’s Get Divorced Episodes 1 & 2 Review: Lee Min Jung’s Comeback

OK! Let’s Get Divorced (그래, 이혼하자 ) officially premiered on KBS on August 19, 2026, and after watching the first two episodes, I already have mixed feelings. Some parts felt a little predictable, but I am still hooked. If you are a fan of marriage-in-crisis dramas like Go Back Couple or relationship and workplace dramas like Strangers Again, this one should definitely be on your watch list.
The drama centers on a married couple who run a luxury wedding dress company, J&White. I really enjoy watching Lee Min Jung as Baek Mi Young, a tough CEO who dreamed of becoming a tailor since she was a child and eventually started her own company after experiencing a tragedy.
Kim Ji Suk plays her husband, Ji Won Ho, the company's main designer. The two fell in love almost instantly, and Won Ho proposed after just six months. Together, they have built their glamorous brand over the past seven years.
But their marriage has not been as perfect as their successful business. Something happened during their fourth year of marriage, and whatever it was seems to have left a deep wound between them. Eventually, Baek Mi Young takes off her wedding ring, throws it at Won Ho, and tells him she wants a divorce.
And honestly, that is where the real tension begins. I am already wondering what will happen between them next and whether this marriage can actually be saved.

In Episode 1, we get a fun look at the fabulous everyday lives of Mi Young and Won Ho at J&White. It was such a pleasure watching Mi Young command the room, give out instructions, check the silk fabrics, and handle every little crisis that came her way. She feels so natural in the role, and I genuinely enjoyed watching Lee Min Jung perform in these scenes.
I also found myself smiling at the little arguments between Mi Young and Won Ho. They can stand together and act perfectly professional in front of their VIP bridal clients, only to start throwing words at each other the second the door closes. That contrast between their polished public image and their complicated married life was honestly so much fun to watch.
Things start heating up in Episode 2 when celebrity client Cheon Man Joo (Lee Su Ji) places an order for a wedding dress. The tension gets even worse when Mi Young attends a high-profile party at a hotel owned by her ex-boyfriend, Calvin (Lee Hyun Jin).
We also meet photographer Ahn Hee Joo (Lee Jini), who openly shows her interest in Ji Won Ho after recognizing him from their encounter in Milan eight years ago. Although Won Ho rejects her advances, his petty behavior at the party absolutely made my jaw drop.

The first week was fun, but I really did not like Ji Won Ho as a male lead. As far as I'm concerned, he was a total DOUCHEBAG. He was so juvenile and childish that I was honestly fed up with him.
After he found out that Baek Mi Young was going to Calvin's party, he tried to stop her by giving her even more work to deal with. But what he did at the party made things so much worse. He tightened a belt around her pregnant body just to prove a point, and she eventually collapsed on the floor.
Later, when it was revealed that Baek Mi Young had already suffered a miscarriage, his reckless behavior became even more unforgivable to me. I felt like I was experiencing all of her pain when Mi Young confronted him at the hospital and screamed, "You're worse than a murderer."
And honestly, some of the storylines are starting to feel a little cliché too. The artificial co-CEO setup and the fake jealousy involving their exes feel scripted and a little lazy. I also have to admit that the mystery surrounding what happened during their fourth year of marriage is starting to test my patience. I understand that the drama is saving that story for later, but I hope the eventual reveal is worth the wait.
This K-drama also reminds me a little of the Japanese drama Let's Get Divorced (2023). The premises are different, but there is something about the two dramas that gives me a similar feeling.

OK! Let's Get Divorced Ending Predictions

From what I have seen in these first two episodes, I believe both protagonists are heading toward some serious healing. I am sure the ending will force them to finally deal with the grief surrounding their previous miscarriage and the communication problems that have damaged their marriage.
I want Baek Mi Young to realize that her identity is about more than her success at work. At the same time, I want Ji Won Ho to grow up, mature, and become an equal partner instead of continuing to act like a passive-aggressive child.
I hope the ending is emotional and gives both of them a chance to move forward from this unhealthy situation at work and in their marriage. Whether that means they find their way back to each other or start a new and empowering chapter as single people, I just want their ending to feel earned.
✦ Watch This If You Loved
I recommend OK! Let’s Get Divorced if you enjoy romance with plenty of petty workplace banter. Just be warned, the male lead’s attitude might test your patience.
