Weirdo-101 Episodes 1-4 Review | Why You Shouldn’t Miss This Series

Since it premiered on August 14, 2026, Weirdo-101 ( แรงโน้มถ่วงระหว่างเรา) has been giving me all the warm, fuzzy feelings of a high school romance. The series is based on mostlycloudy's web novel 'The Gravity Between Us', with Weerachit Thongjila at the helm. Whether you're into the cozy romance of Be My Player or the sweet school atmosphere of My School President, this BL should be at the top of your watchlist.
The story follows Niran (Keen Suvijak Piyanopharoj), a cool judo player who just wants to live a normal life. That plan gets shaken up when he meets Cheewa (Sea Dechchart Tasilp), the school's eccentric astronomy club genius.
I love how quickly their dynamic goes from playful awkwardness to an inevitable gravitational pull. Cheewa is a pushy junior who has no problem making his interest known, while Niran initially has no idea what to do with all that attention. But the moment Niran steps in to protect him, Cheewa starts an unabashed flirting campaign that is impossible to ignore.
And when Sea and Keen are on screen together, their chemistry feels like a warm hug. They're so comfortable with each other that even their smallest interactions feel natural, sweet, and completely spot-on.
Weirdo-101 Episodes 1-2 Review: What I Loved
Episode 1 starts with a fun, humorous vibe right from Niran and Cheewa's first meeting. I was grinning from ear to ear as I watched Niran awkwardly step in to save Cheewa from a hostile upperclassman. Instead of simply saying "Thank you," Cheewa starts studying Niran like he's a rare discovery in the universe. When you put a disciplined judo athlete together with a space nerd who is constantly speaking in metaphors, the chemistry is instant.
The high school setting in Episode 2 gives us an endless supply of sweet, cozy moments. Cheewa suddenly keeps popping up in Niran's line of sight, openly flirting with him and leaving Niran visibly flustered and wondering what exactly is happening to his life. I love how playfully awkward Sea is as Cheewa, and it never feels like he's being robotic. Cheewa is affectionate in his own unique way, and watching Niran slowly give in to all that attention makes Episode 2 pure entertainment.
Weirdo-101 Episode 4 Ending
We get a big emotional rush at the end of Episode 4. Cheewa finally faces Niran head-on and asks why he keeps staying close to him when he's already made his feelings so obvious. Niran tries to brush it off like he normally would, but this time, he's completely stumped. Deep down, he already knows the truth: he's been looking for Cheewa's presence and wanting him around.
At this point, it's clear that the "gravity" between them is mutual. Niran has fallen into a sweet spot when it comes to Cheewa, and what started as reluctant protection is slowly turning into genuine romantic feelings.
Weirdo-101 Review: My Verdict After Episode 4
Episode 3 slows down a little when it comes to pacing, and I found myself getting a bit impatient. After introducing our main duo, the story takes a detour to set up separate storylines involving Thara (Aston Ratiphat), Hem (Aungpao Ochiris), and Pok (Ashi Peerakan). I actually loved seeing Niran and Cheewa surrounded by a strong group of friends, but the constant side drama felt a little repetitive. Some of those misunderstandings took up screen time that I really wanted to see spent on our leads.
Things pick up again in Episode 4 with a beautiful nighttime conversation about stars and planetary gravity. As Cheewa shares his view of the universe and how he sees the world with Niran, the scene creates such a soft, tender moment between them. It's the kind of quiet interaction that brings Niran and Cheewa closer without needing a big romantic gesture.
But then that pesky subplot involving Cheewa's older brother comes back just before the credits, bringing in some unnecessary competition. The sudden quirky villain vibe from the upperclassman doesn't really fit the grounded, slice-of-life feel I love about this series.
Overall, Weirdo-101 is a delightful and uplifting high school love story, made even better by the chemistry between Sea and Keen. The clever dialogue, cozy visuals, and sweet atmosphere make it such a comforting watch. For me, it's easily become a must-watch part of my weekly BL routine.
