Dive into You (너에게 다이브) is a fantasy romance that premiered on September 26, 2026, and I was hooked by its crazy plot right away. Top star Yun Ha Na (Kim Ji Yeon/Bo Na) has a glamorous life in the present, but she still can't stop thinking about her first love from high school, Jung Woo Jae (Park Seo Ham), who died in a tragic accident... remind you of something? But then a camcorder sends her back to her high school days, and everything changes. The real twist comes when she gets into a freak accident, and her soul switches places with her twin brother, Yun Haru (Jang Se Hyuk). Now she has to save her first love while living in her brother's body! I can totally see why everyone is comparing it to Lovely Runner.
From the opening scenes, the K-drama is on a fast roll. The thing about Yun Ha Na is that she has everything in the present, yet she still carries the grief of losing Jung Woo Jae, and Kim Ji Yeon brings that emotional weight to the role. The second the time-traveling camcorder comes into play, the K-drama turns into a full-blown body-swap comedy. Jang Se Hyuk is already a major highlight as Yun Haru, especially when he takes on Yun Ha Na's frantic, over-the-top reactions while stuck in the body of a teenage boy. Her desperate attempts to keep Jung Woo Jae safe, while also trying to avoid awkward situations with her brother and his friends, create a constant stream of hilarious moments.
This K-drama is a no-brainer if you're in the mood for a fantasy romance comedy. The heart-wrenching nostalgia mixed with the ridiculous body-swap moments had me hooked from the very first episode. I love how the drama can go from emotional and serious one minute to completely silly the next, just like a bunch of teenagers getting themselves into trouble at school. If you're searching for a drama that has you snickering and kicking your feet this week, you need to start watching Dive into You. Its premiere week is already off to a very fun start.
Dive into You Episodes 1-2 Review: What I Loved

Episode 1 is an ultimate emotional roller coaster. I broke down as soon as I saw those old pictures of Jung Woo Jae looking at Yun Ha Na. The second Park Seo Ham appears on screen, he has that effortless, dream-like first-love charm. The return to 2016 feels lively and nostalgic, with that slightly hazy camcorder look that immediately takes you back to the past. I was shocked by the accident at the end of Episode 1, and when Yun Ha Na wakes up, looks in the mirror, and hears herself screaming in her twin brother's voice, I was completely stunned.
In Episode 2, it's all about comedy. Jang Se Hyuk is absolutely hilarious as Yun Ha Na trapped in Yun Haru's body. Watching him try to control his feelings for Jung Woo Jae while also keeping up the persona of a teenage boy is sooo cute. I had to laugh my ass off during the hallway confrontation scene. In her desperate attempts to protect Jung Woo Jae from all the little dangers around him, Yun Ha Na keeps finding herself getting closer and more affectionate with him, while he has absolutely no idea what's going on.
I did feel like the present-day backstory in Episode 1 was rushed, especially with how quickly the story moved into the time-travel element. The logic behind the body swap is also a little nonsensical if you think about it too much. But honestly, I barely noticed those issues because the comedic timing and emotional moments are so strong. Both Park Seo Ham and Jang Se Hyuk have incredible screen presence, and their characters find themselves in an increasingly tangled situation in Episode 2 that just keeps getting more entertaining.
After finishing Episodes 1 and 2, I am all in on this crazy ride. The opening week has already put Yun Ha Na in such a wild situation. Now that she's living as her brother Yun Haru in high school, she has to make the best of her situation while trying to change the past and make sure Jung Woo Jae stays safe. And that ending to Episode 2! It leaves us with a major cliffhanger as Jung Woo Jae starts to suspect that his best friend isn't quite the same anymore.
The ending of Episode 2 also reveals that Yun Ha Na knows something about Jung Woo Jae's hidden passion that only his first love would know. This creates an even more interesting situation when Jung Woo Jae starts feeling strangely drawn to Yun Haru, without knowing that Yun Ha Na's soul is actually inside his body. That moment alone made me want Episode 3 so badly.
I have been completely hooked on this series. The writers have managed to bring together heart-wrenching romance, time travel, and body-swap comedy without making the story feel like too much. If it keeps this same mix of fun and emotion going in Episode 3 and the episodes that follow, Dive into You could become one of the fantasy K-dramas I enjoy most this year.

I highly recommend Dive into You for fans who love time-travel rom-coms with body-swap comedy and an emotional first-love story filled with nostalgia.
